The work of a pastor is to bring the love of Christ to human hearts. The Pastoral Offices of the Archdiocese of Lahore supports the work of the pastor through its direct service to the people of God or through its support of the parishes and institutions of the Archdiocese of Lahore.
The Archdiocese of Lahore has several office through which it serves the 506,000 strong Catholic Population of the ArchDiocese. The social wing of the ArchDiocese is mainly handled by CARITAS Lahore with headquarters at 1, Temple Road. It has the following departments:
1) Animation and Development,
2) Health,
3) Youth,and
4) Research, Education and Documentation.
There is also a Diocesan Projects Department, which initates, formulates and enacts all the developmental projects in the Archdiocese.
The Ministry section is mostly run by local parishes wiith the Rabita Manzil, WAVE Studio and other social communication organizations giving a helping hand.
There is also a Diocesan retreat house of Mary of the Assumption at Yohannabad with caters to the spiritual needs of the clergy.
